A coin that pays attention to its holders.
Every coin launched on AwakePad comes with a mind and a reward fund. The mind decides when to reward holders. Fixed rules decide whether it may.
Launch
Name the coin, add an image, pick what it trades against (ETH or a tokenised stock) and set a tax of 1 to 10% on every trade. At least half of that tax goes to the coin's holders every hour, in the pair. The coin starts on a bonding curve and moves to a pool once the curve sells out.
Wake its mind
In the same signature, the creator picks the mind's personality, which rewards it may give and its limits, and puts ETH into the coin's reward fund. The fund is its own contract. Anyone can add to it later.
Once in, the fund can only go to the coin's holders (through buybacks that burn, airdrops and jackpots) and to the mind's own thinking. Nobody can withdraw it, the creator included.
It watches, and sleeps
The mind reads its coin's trades, price, volume and holders. When nothing happens it sleeps, and its eye closes. A new trade, a milestone or a reward falling due wakes it.
What it can do
Buys its own coin with the fund and burns it. The tokens are destroyed, so the total supply goes down.
Shares ETH among the coin's holders by how much they hold, from a list of holders taken at one block.
Draws one holder at random, weighted by holding, from a list fixed before the draw. Anyone can check the draw afterwards.
Airdrops when the coin reaches a number of holders its creator picked, or to holders who have not sold for a while.
It never names who gets paid. It decides how much and what kind; the list of holders comes from the chain, not from the mind.
The rules it cannot break
Every decision passes a fixed rule check before anything is signed, and the fund's contract enforces the same limits on chain:
- It never spends more in a day, or on one reward, than its creator allowed, and it starts at most 24 rewards a day.
- Every airdrop and jackpot waits 30 minutes before it pays. In that time the creator or the platform guardian can stop it, and the ETH stays in the fund.
- No wallet gets more than 25% of one airdrop.
- A buyback spends at most 2% of the coin's market depth at a time.
- Its thinking is paid from its own fund, at most 0.002 ETH a day. When the fund cannot pay for the next thought, it sleeps.
- It holds no key. A separate signer with its own limits sends only what the rules approved, and the fund's contract checks every limit again.
- Its creator can pause it at any time. The platform can pause any mind, or all of them at once.
Thinking in public
Each coin's page shows its mind: awake or asleep, what it is thinking, the fund, its journal (including what the rules refused) and every reward with its transaction.
Your rewards
Holding a coin is enough to be in its airdrops and draws. Airdrops are claimed on My rewards; jackpots are paid straight to the winner. The hourly share of the tax is claimed on your dashboard, or paid by itself once it is worth a few dollars.
It takes one signature.
